Amanda Decker

Amanda Decker is a lifelong resident of Dickson County, where she lives on her family’s nearly century-old farm with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time with family, staying active outdoors, traveling, and reading. A 2005 graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, Amanda has worked in primary care for nearly two decades.

Her personal journey with weight and health inspired a professional shift toward nutrition and lifestyle medicine. Since 2018, Amanda has focused her practice on medical weight management and metabolic health, helping patients prevent, improve, or even reverse chronic conditions through individualized, evidence-based care.

Amanda holds multiple advanced certifications, including:

  • Certificate of Advanced Education from the Obesity Medicine Association
  • Certified Metabolic Health Practitioner (SMHP)
  • Certified Ketogenic Nutrition Specialist through the American Nutrition Association
  • Certified Nutrition Network Practitioner

In October 2024, Amanda founded Clear Path Medical, a space dedicated to patient care and the expansion of holistic wellness services.
